These gorgeous heels came in the mail yesterday (you might have seen them on my Instagram) and I can’t wait to wear them this fall! I have also began to move towards fall floral with this skirt. Loving this time year!
Happy Monday! I wore this cozy outfit for a date night over the weekend. I LOVE this sweater, and what’s even better is that it’s on sale right now! It’s super soft and I love that it’s oversized.Tory Burch is having an amazing sale that ends TONIGHT. Use code FALLEVENT at checkout.
I am interested in photography and would like to know what camera you shoot with and what software do you use to edit the pictures? I use the Canon 6D. I love it! If you are ready to invest in a camera this is a great one. I think the lens is the most important part and mine is the 85mm lens. Its great for shooting outfits or capturing fun moments with my kids! For editing I use Photoshop. I learned 4 or 5 years ago by watching youtube tutorials, no joke.
I love your outfit posts and family updates! I know you’re building a new house too and would love to see a few posts on your new space and how you decided to decorate. As far as questions…where are your favorite places to shop/favorite brands, how do you find time to get dressed up for outfit posts with 2 little ones, any tips for cute clothes when you’re nursing, and how you got back into running post-pregnancy. I am definitely an online shopper. When I do go out shopping I go to Nordstrom, J.Crew, Gap, Anthropologie. When I am shopping online I love Shopbop, Tory Burch, Neiman Marcus.
I think it could be a cool post or some sort of series to know where your younger sisters love to shop at! All of you girls have such a unique and good sense of style! I love this question! I would say Rachels favorite brand is Tory Burch, Vince and Current Elliot. Amy LOVES Free People. Megan loves Madewell.
Do you have a nanny? No, When I do need help with kids my sisters or other family members will help me. On a day to day basis I am with my kids running to and from school, dance, soccer practice, or visiting with family.
Do you get “me” time and have date nights? My “me” time is early in the morning at the gym or going for a run, there is nothing better! It is hard to consistently find time for date nights, something that most couples with kids can probably relate to. However, now that we are finally settling into our new house, I am hoping that we find more time to do more date nights on the weekends, at least a couple times a month. Our weeks generally consist of early mornings and late nights, it may or may not be 2:30am right now while I am writing this:) Forgive me if sentences start to jumble together…
Do you cook? Yes! But for the most part I don’t do anything too fancy, just the usual tacos, pasta, bbq etc.. Once or twice a month I will find a tempting recipe, spend way too much at the store, and then after going completely overboard remind myself why I don’t cook eloquent meals every night:)
Do you want more kids? Yes!
Have you always loved running? No, I used to only go to the gym. I got into running mostly because of my husband. He would go all the time and tell me about his long runs, and I of course looked at him like he was crazy (which he was), but then I started tagging along. I slowed him down at first but he was encouraging and didn’t complain. When I got into running shape, which is way different than “gym shape” (different muscle groups), it began to be something that we could enjoy together! I then trained and completed my first half marathon and the adrenaline of it all got me hooked!
