Ok you guys, I am SO excited to finally be sharing Cannon’s new bedroom with you! As you may remember, I worked with RH Baby & Child to design a “big boy” room for Cannon and it has been such a fun process seeing it come to life (you can see my design inspiration here and my experience going to my local RH Design Atelier in Salt Lake City to meet with their interior design team to pick out everything here). To say Cannon is loving it is a huge understatement; it suits him and his personality perfectly!!!

I love everything about Cannon’s new room but one of my favorite parts is the bed and bedding (he’s growing up so fast but he looks so tiny in this new bed, so I kind of love it! haha). RH Baby & Child has so many great fabric and color options to pick from, and I’m obsessed with what we chose. I also love his Avalon dresser and nightstand (both from RH TEEN actually). I never thought to mix items from RH Baby & Child with RH TEEN, but the designers gave me the idea when I met with them a couple months ago and I’m thrilled about how it all came together. Every piece of furniture and accessory complements each other and the room just flows. Cannon would spend all day, every day in here if I would let him!!

Let me know if you have any questions about the space! And if you’re looking to redesign a room in your home, I would definitely recommend working with RH Interior Design! They are super experienced and amazing at what they do and we couldn’t be happier with how this turned out!

  1. What a handsome room for a handsome boy!! Love the details 🙂 My two year is obsessed with the book ‘Press Here’. Do you have ‘Mix it Up’ too?

Where did you get the navy and red airplanes on the night stands? And the ship on the dresser?

  2. Love how it turned out, the furniture will grow well with him as he get’s older. Reminds me a lot of a Serena and Lily boys room I saw on their site. Beautiful!

  3. Hi Emily!
Beautiful room! Can you please tell me where I can find the red airplane that is on the nightstand in front of the little monkey picture?
    Thanks!

  4. BeAutiful! Do you have a reveal of capri’s room on your blog? Woulf love some inspiration for my girl’s room. Xxx

  5. Hello. This is a wonderful boy’s room!
Great design! My only question would be the practicality of placing sharp cornered tables next to the bed for such a young child? My son at that age would roll to the edge of the bed and a sharp corner would be a concern until older.

Any suggestions for making those corners safer until older but still look nice?

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Tracey! I know, that’s always a tough one. Luckily Cannon isn’t much of a roller and he’s a pretty cautious child,so we thought it would work out great for him and it has so far!!
