As Valentines Day fast approaches, I have been getting Capri’s little Valentines ready for ALL her friends. She seems to have way more Valentines than I remember having as a kid, it’s that or I just didn’t realize the work my mom was putting in back then. I posted this recipe a couple of years ago but thought it would be fun to share again! I have tried SO many sugar cookie recipes and none of them come close to beating this one. These cookies are my absolute favorite and we make them for every holiday. SO GOOD! I would love to hear what you think if you decide to make them!

  5. Hi Emily, cute cookies and I don’t mean this to be nit-picky but as a Mom of a child with severe nut allergies, please give parents the heads-up that these cookies contain almond extract. Sugar cookies tend to be a type of cookie that some parents might just assume to be “safe”. : )

  11. I think we must not have remembered how much work Valentine’s Day was for our Moms — I do always remember the day being extra special, and I have my Mom to thank for that! I am sure Capri is creating the same special memories with you. 🙂 So cute!
