With school starting, I have been very conscientious about what types of things I want to put in my kids lunches. We have been trying our best to eat more meals at home and be healthy. And since I don’t like to send my kids to school with chips and fruit snacks, I wanted to come up with 3 new healthy lunch ideas to try.
With that being said, I do think it is important to find balance in all things. So, to not totally restrict my kids from sweets, I like to put a few chocolate chips, some almond butter or a fruit leather in their lunches from time to time.
Also, I am obsessed with this lunch box. It is so conveniently laid out with sections for everything, and keeps it all so cool throughout the day. It might be one of my favorite items we got during our back to school shopping. I also really like to send my kids with a Hydroflask of water so they remember to drink water all day. We love the ones with the straws.
