Hawaii Trip Roundup | Part I

Well this Wednesday looks much different than last Wednesday did. Last week I was basking in the Hawaiian sun and today I am stuck inside while it’s dumping snow outside!

As most of you know, I spent the last two weeks in Hawaii on a much-needed vacation. I had the most amazing time with my hubby, Rachel & Drew, and some of our closest friends. We took all the necessary precautions to make this trip as safe as possible. Prior to going, we all received rapid covid tests. 72 hours later and a negative covid test we headed off.

We stayed at the Montage Kapalua Bay, this is one of my absolute favorite resorts of all time. We hung out by the pool, ate nachos (literally every day), got a couples massage, and soaked in all the sun possible. We snorkeled at Kapalua Bay, did a secret hike in Hana, whale watched, and went cliff jumping. One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to try all the restaurants. Some of our favorite restaurants we ate at were Kimos, Leilani’s, Mama’s Fish House, Merriman’s, Star Noodle (had good reviews but I was not impressed), Cool Cat Cafe (casual environment and SO good), Cane + Canoe for breakfast almost every day (one of my fav’s!) and Gazebo

We took the redeye home and arrived back in Utah on Saturday. I traded my swimsuits, sundresses, and sandals for sweats, coats, and boots.

I’m already looking forward to going back next year!

Tomorrow I will be talking about some of my favorite looks from the trip, so make sure to check that out.
